Met up with Jo, for my birthday dinner. In attempt to try out new place, and with the limited new place that we know, we ended up at Jarrod & Rawlins.
Upon stepping in, with our hungry, stomach, we were almost drooling upon seeing the variety of gourmet sausages, quality cheeses charcuterie and antipasti from around the world. We also have the choice to select the sausages to be cooked, as part of our meal, with minimal cooking fee.
Jo highly recommended the caesar salad with real bacon and crunchy croutons, which turned out to be alright. It came with fresh romaine lettuce, accompanied by thick caesar salad sauce.
I so wanted to try out the portobello mushroom. With the large size and dense meaty texture, any accompanying ingredients baked together would taste good. This choice of ours was baked with bacon and cheese, and bacon neverfail in taste especially being fried, or baked. Since it was only 1 mushroom, we need to slowly swallow each bite.
We ordered 4 different variety of sausages which were done with minimal cooking fee,and they were real aromatic, and meaty. As for the seafood marinara spaghetti, it tasted just alright.

Had to have a slice of cake, as belated birthday celebration. The cakes on display somehow did not appeal to us. With the staff recommendation, we went for the chocolate cake. It was really rich and creamy - however nothing to shout about le.
It is always good to catch up with my superbusy friend - Jo Yau, my "babe".
