After rushing all the Christmas orders, I can't wait to get back to my blogging.
This lunch was about 3 weeks back, where I met up with my ex-classmate, Cass. Much has been read about Poco, and glad that Cass was up to trying Poco with me.
We love the simplicity and the entire non-pretentious feel of Poco Homemade.
We had the seaweed roll, which was rolled with chicken, crabstick and some other vege . They were well coated with breadcrumbs, and carried texture that were so light and crispy.
We liked the chicken katsu curry don, that tasted very much like home cooked food. Tender chicken meat also well coated with breadcrumb.
And it was time for us to order dessert. Love the way the menu was presented to us, in fabric that was sewn. The Rum Mascaporne was not on sale the other day, so we opted for the homemade Tofu Cake. A cake that I have not tasted before.
It was surely an interesting cake, not too sweet, with very light texture.
There were many super duper cute rubber stamps made by Poco... Enjoyed stamping them. This is self-explanatory, with their details incorporated.
I am also proud to share that Cass has recently set up her website, selling jewelery pieces that are designed and handcrafted by her and her sis.
I personally like a few pieces that she brought out to show me the other day. Each piece is uniquely handmade and distinctive with materials including semi-precious stones, non-tarnish wires, sterling silver and gold-filled materials. Aiyo... my friend is so talented... ^^
These were just some of the earrings she showcased to me the other day. Love 'em
The lariat necklace that immediately caught my eyes was this particular one, called the 'Mod Bird's Nest Lariat'... Isn't it adorable ??
