On the eve of Labour Day, had craving for steamboat. Thus head on to Menjalara which has ample choices of steamboat restaurants, with Kim.
Ordered the grilled chicken wing - and I vowed that this is the best chicken wing I've tasted ever (and its better than 'Wong Ah Wah'). The aroma of the chicken, the partial burnt part of the skin, the crispiness of the skin, makes it just so perfect, and am now craving for it again. This is sold by a Chinese couple, which operates just across the road, from the restaurant. Eating the chicken with the chili sauce provided, it truly brings the overall taste of the chicken wing to a higher level. The sauce is not too spicy, and a little sourish.
Chicken Wing. Price-RM2.20 per pcHad the 'ying yong' soup - combination of tom yam and clear soup.
For this over flowing plate of ingredients - which are various types of balls, prawns, cuttlefish, crabsticks, mushrooms, vege -it only cost RM15.80 per serving.
We were so full when we finish all the above ingredients, and we just packed the noodles and eggs home.
